Individuality...

this is what ive noticed...

in todays society everyone is striving to "be different",trying to be unlike anyone else. whether it is in their attire or their attitude. which is why there is so much more attitude and aggression that we encounter on a daily basis. everyone is trying to "make a name" for themselves.

but in striving to be individuals we are all just conforming to this notion that we all have to be  something other than we are. in our attempts to be different we are all actually the same. we are all just looking to belong while giving the illusion that we dont.

caught up in the moment...

you know the feeling, emotions all out of place, heart beating fast, craving, belonging, ---> caught up in the moment.

many times our hearts and emotions get the best of us, we get caught up the present, forgetting about, rather disregarding the possible outcome of our actions.

i promised myself something along time ago, to becareful of how i act, to not make promises i couldnt keep, but i found myself doing this again.

the end result would be not only hurting others, but hurting myself.

i guess the lesson is think before you act, sometimes its better to do nothing that to do wrong.

Belonging …

It’s funny how you can claim to belong to something and yet still feel out of place. The term itself denotes a sense of acceptance and security, but no matter how hard I try I never feel true comfort in a few of my chosen activities.

The conclusion that I have come to is this: One commonality is not enough to “make you part of something”, no matter how strong that supposed bond is supposed to be.
